Interested students must send the file to the doctoral school secretariat by email before May 22, 2020, deadline and two "paper" copies by post when the doctoral school secretariat can reopen again (you can will be notified by email)

Applications are then pre-selected on the basis of academic criteria. Only candidates who have obtained a minimum of 12/20 excluding the Master's research internship (grades S3) or equivalent can be called for the audition.

5 disciplinary juries (Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Atmospheric Sciences, Earth Sciences) will meet between 10 and 20 July 2020. The functioning and selection procedure are in accordance with article 14 of the internal regulations of the Doctoral School of Fundamental Sciences.

Applications will be analysed on the basis of an audition

a) Presentation of the university curriculum
b) Presentation of research work on M1 and M2 internships (if M2 internships are not completed, candidates will present the progress of their work and reflections on work in progress).
c) Presentation of the thesis project
d) Professional project
The audition will be completed by questions from the jury members on scientific aspects (previous work and thesis project), professional project and academic background.

  • 10 July 2020 (morning): Maths Jury - LMBP
  • 13 July 2020 (day): Physics Jury - IP + LPC
July 15, 2020 ( 14 h - 18 h) : Council of the Doctoral School Basic Sciences (allocation of allowances)
